HOW TO: Change domain’s DNS

You can change your domain’s DNS at your current registrar which is the place where you have registered your domain name. Within their website, there has to be a page where you can modify. Kindly contact your registrar for further instructions.

You will have access to our Private Domain Management System (PDMS) where you can handle your domain name if you are subscribed to our Private Domain Name service.

Quick info:

What is a Nameserver?

nameserver is a computer where we store the records of DNS (Domain Name System) in databases. Web browsers, such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge, can search and read the DNS records. This tells them where to find the websites.

What is DNS?

Domain Name System (DNS) converts domain names into numbers which is so-called IP addresses. We often identify every website according to numbers and IP addresses; computers read that. For example, one of the IP addresses for Google is 172.217.14.228. When web browsers look for Google, they are looking for 172.217.14.228. They find its IP address in the Google Name Server databases. DNS forms the backbone of the internet, the authority on where every website is located.

Furthermore, you can protect your domain and personal information by using Domain Privacy + Protection. The advantage of using it is that it is fast, easy, and affordable. Therefore, we recommend you to use this as it helps to keep competitors, salespeople, and thieves from accessing your domain and personal information.
